What services do you provide?
We provide general practice service via telehealth. These include: online medical certificates, online prescription medications, referral to specialists, pathology and radiology request forms. We are unable to provide certain restricted medications, chronic disease care plans, or workers compensation paperwork on our platform. Speak to our reception team or our online doctor for any specific needs.
What are your online doctors qualifications?
All our online doctors are highly qualified and experienced. - Australian-registered: All our doctors are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), ensuring they meet the highest standards for practicing medicine in Australia. - Fellows of the RACGP: Each doctor holds a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). This Fellowship signifies their advanced training and expertise in general practice, making them qualified to handle a wide range of health concerns. - Experience you can trust: Our doctors bring a wealth of experience to your telehealth consultations, providing you with the best possible care.
What are your prices?
We offer a simple flat rate model starting from $45. Please see our pricing page for details.
Can I use Medicare for the appointment?
We offer bulk billing (no gap) to any of the following patients: – Under 12 months of age, – COVID-19 positive (with Concession Card), – Experiencing homelessness (with Concession Card), – Sexual health consultations (with Concession Card), - Mental health care consult and plan (with Concession Card). For patients without concession/health cards suffering from the above conditions, we will issue a receipt that can be submitted for a refund from Medicare (Currently $41).
Can I get a receipt to claim from Medicare
Currently only the following conditions are eligible for a Medicare Rebate ($41 with receipt): - COVID-19 positive, – Experiencing homelessness, – Sexual health consultations, - Mental health care plan - (Rebate $100). - Mental health care consult over 20 minutes. (Rebate $78) For all other conditions there is no Medicare rebate.
Can I use my private health fund?
Following each consultation, you will be issued a receipt. You will need to check with your Insurer whether any rebate is available under your level of cover.
Do you prescribe all medications?
We prescribe medications for both new and repeat scripts. These may include antibiotics for UTI's and other infections, oral contraceptives, medications for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking cessation, among others. We do not prescribe any addictive medications and some restricted medications, including s4d and s8 drugs, such as Valium, Codeine, Endone, or certain sleeping or pain medications. We also are unable to prescribe certain weight loss medications such as Duromine or Ozempic.
How do I receive results of my tests?
If you have arranged a pathology or radiology referral through us, the results will be sent to our practice. You will need to arrange another consultation with one of our online doctors to go through the results. The doctor will be able to send you a copy of your results after they have been discussed.
Do you see Covid Patients
Yes, we welcome all Covid patients for a telehealth consultation. All Covid patients with concession cards are bulk billed, offering no out of pocket expense. Without a concession card, a receipt will be issues providing a Medicare rebate (Currently $41).
Do you prescribe antiviral medications for Covid?
Yes, our online doctors can prescribe antiviral medications for patients suffering from Covid. There are PBS restrictions which our doctors will help determine your eligibility.
Does your clinic provide home visits?
Unfortunately, our clinic is unable to provide home visits.
What are your opening hours?
We operate from 9am-7pm (Sydney Time) 7 days per week. Availability for appointments is visible on our booking page. We are normally available within 15 minutes during those hours.
