Online Doctor Darwin: Telehealth GP in the NT

Speak to an AHPRA-registered doctor by phone or video from Darwin, Palmerston or anywhere in the Northern Territory, 7 days a week.

Teldoc is an Australian-owned telehealth service. Our doctors can help with prescriptions, medical certificates, referrals and everyday health concerns without a trip to a clinic. We're open 9am to 7pm Sydney time. In Darwin that's 8:30am to 6:30pm from April to early October, and 7:30am to 5:30pm while the eastern states are on daylight saving, because the NT doesn't change its clocks.

Telehealth across the Northern Territory

Distance makes getting to a clinic hard for many people in the Territory, and in the wet season some roads can be cut for days. Teldoc's doctors can see you by phone or video from Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Alice Springs or a remote community, wherever you have phone reception, for an eScript, a medical certificate or a specialist referral.

We don't replace your regular doctor or local clinic. We're there for the times you need care quickly and getting in isn't practical. For free health advice at any hour, you can also call healthdirect on 1800 022 222.

Teldoc is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 000 or go to the emergency department at Royal Darwin Hospital in Tiwi, or your nearest emergency department.
