• Metro North Sexual Health and HIV Service, 270 Roma Street (Biala), Brisbane City: Queensland Health's public sexual health clinic offering confidential testing and treatment. Teldoc can arrange the same tests by telehealth with a pathology request.
• Emergencies: for chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding or any emergency, call 000 or go to the Royal Brisbane and Women's, Princess Alexandra or Mater emergency department. Telehealth is not for emergencies.

Bulk billing in Brisbane

We bulk bill every consultation that Medicare covers. Medicare only covers a telehealth GP consultation if you have seen us in person in the past 12 months or an exemption applies. Exemptions include sexual health consultations, babies under 12 months and patients experiencing homelessness, so those consultations are bulk billed with a valid Medicare card. Yes. Our GPs issue medical certificates for university, TAFE and work absences after a consultation, emailed to you the same day.

Do you do STI testing in Brisbane?
Yes. After a discreet video or phone consultation we send a pathology request you can take to any collection centre in Brisbane. Results are reviewed by our GP and treatment can be arranged by eScript.
